OSGB: 2002 Leaf Certified Packs 1-5

It’s the time you’ve all been waiting for, the first ever Old School Group Break! First on the list is 2002 Leaf Certified which promises us 3 game-used cards numbered to 150 or less. Let’s see what we get.

Pack 1:
Phil Nevin
Vladimir Guerrero (base design if anyone cares)
guerrerocertified
Ben Grieve
Brandon Duckworth
Michael Barrett

Again, I won’t give out the base cards unless you’re looking for a team/player in particular. As you can tell, these don’t scan worth a damn. Thanks foil.

Pack 2:
Kazuhiro Sasaki
Todd Helton
Alex Rodriguez
Vernon Wells
Bobby Abreu
FOR THE ROCKIES (Beardy): a Fabric of the Game Larry Walker jersey (42/50)

Very nice hit for Beardy! The great thing about these old DLP game-used cards is that a lot of them actually show a picture of the cut-up item on the back, in this case Walker’s jersey. Here’s a scan:

Pack 3:
Kevin Brown
Randy Johnson
Bernie Williams
Mike Schmidt
Manny Ramirez

Pack 4:
Marcus Giles
Adam Dunn
Larry Walker
Craig Biggio
Jay Gibbons

Pack 5:
Edgardo Alfonzo
Aramis Ramirez
Bud Smith
Robert Fick
Andruw Jones

There you have it. The first 5 packs of our Leaf Certified box. Beardy was the first to get on the board with the Fabric of the Game card. We still have a couple more game-used and a couple of inserts to go. Hopefully, there’ll be something big!

  1. Sweet! Not an Oriole, but I’ll take it!

  2. Very cool Walker. I like how it shows the actual jersey the swatch was cut from on the card’s back. I have a Ricky Williams like that, and always thought that was a cool idea.

  3. Let me know if you are willing to part with the Dunn and Casey.

  4. Joe,

You’ll get a copy of any Reds base I pull.
